Our Team
Vinita graduated in Dentistry from Birmingham University in 1996. She completed vocational training and worked as a senior house officer at various hospitals. She continued with further education and passed several Royal College exams including MFGDP (Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners), MFDS (Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery), MOrth (Membership in Orthodontics) as well as an MPhil (Master of Philosophy) from Birmingham University. Vinita has worked in a private practice in Manchester and has provided orthodontic treatment to famous sports and media personalities.
Apart from Orthodontics my other main passion is the renovation of properties. In my spare time she enjoys travelling and has visited many countries. She also enjoys spending time with her two sons.
I am a qualified orthodontic therapist at Blackburn Orthodontics. I have 11 years of experience in dentistry working in both NHS and private sectors. I gained the diploma in orthodontic therapy in 2019 at Uclan for the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. I have worked with multiple specialists giving me lots of clinical knowledge and experience. Whilst working for the company I have gained numerous qualifications including orthodontic therapy, dental nursing, dental radiography, PAR, IOTN calibrations and dental photography and Impression taking.

I am a qualified Orthodontic Therapist at Total Orthodontics Blackburn practice. I have currently worked for the company for the past 8 years. I started my career with the company as an apprentice dental nurse at our Ormskirk Practice in 2014. I have since over the years gone on to progress in my role taking on duties such as head dental nurse and completing numerous courses. Through out my career I have gained qualifications in the following: Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 QCF City & Guilds, Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, dental radiography, PAR, clinically photography and dental impression taking.
